Ranunculus is a large genus of more than 500 species of flowering plants. Ranunculus symbolizes attractiveness and charm. The flowers are usually yellow, but may also be white, pink and red. Ranunculus can reach a height of between 20 and 60 cm (8 inches to 2 ft), depending on species. The plant prefers moist and well-drained soil. The pH level of the soil should be slightly acidic.
