Clematis, genus of perennial, chiefly climbing shrubs of the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae) with about 370 species. These flowers offer a wide range of different colors. Clematis represents artifice, ingenuity and mental beauty. The flowers may be solitary or in large clusters. It blooms in Spring, Autumn, Winter, Summer.
