Limonium, also known as Sea Lavender, is a genus of about 120 species.
Limonium is a tall plant with a cluster of small flowers sitting atop sturdy stems. It comes in a wonderful range of colors and is easy to maintain.
The flowers are widely used in fresh and dried flower arrangements, but are also beautiful in the garden.
The plant grows up to 90cm(3 ft) in height.
Limonium prefers rich and well-defined soil in full sun. It is not particular as to soil PH.
The plant has been used in herbal remedies to treat diarrhoea, chronic gonorrhoea, gleet, leucorrhoea, chronic dysentery, atonic dyspepsia, pulmonary hemorrhage, chronic laryngitis and bronchorrhea.
Limonium flowers are one of the best everlasting and dried flowers.
